Weekend Fish Feeders Making a Splash

We are always looking for people with an interest in marine science and working with children to help out at the center.

Current Opportunities:


Help maintain our hatchery and aquaponics greenhouse systems:
Feed our fish and monitor our systems over the weekends. We request once a month commitments, but welcome any help!
This is a wonderful opportunity for families or individuals interested in learning more about aquaculture.

Help in the Classroom:
Tutor and mentor a student, give a presentation on a marine science topic.

Office Assistance:
Help with newsletters, appeals, website and other communications.

Spending time at Herring Gut is always exciting and you will be rewarded in many ways - perhaps first and foremost knowing you have given something back to our wonderful coastal community.
