Summer Camp at Herring Gut Learning Center

Herring Gut Learning Center summer camps

Check out our 2010 Schedule!

Herring Gut Learning Center's 2010 Coastal Exploration Summer Camps are, as always, action-packed. Our one-day programs provide children, ages 5 to 13, with a field-based marine science education. Combining just the right amount of facts with fun, the customized programs cover a wide range of oceanic ecosystems. Campers spend time at the HGLC campus and in the field at various liquid locations, up to their elbows in a hands-on learning environment they won't soon forget.

A typical day includes:
•Crafts and activities related to each program topic
•Lunch by the beach, salt marsh, or tidal pool
•Specimen identification, collection and examination
•Awe and respect for our coasts and ocean

Sign up for one day, or many! Herring Gut Learning Center aspires to instill curiosity and good ocean stewardship in the next generations, we love to see returning faces. Come celebrate the sea with us!

Camp runs from 9am to 3pm unless otherwise stated.
