Learning History and Economics on the Waterfront
In late October two classes of sixth grade students from the St. George School participated in hands-on lessons in local history and economics on the Port Clyde waterfront at Herring Gut, Port Clyde Fresh Catch and BioProcess Algae. They came with many questions about aquaculture, commercial fishing, and sustainability, eager to learn how each related to the history and economy of our area. Read more...
