Membership and Gifts

There are as many different reasons to support Herring Gut Learning Center as there are generous individuals who renew their memberships each year. Membership dues are used to run our hatcheries and greenhouse; to plan and implement curriculum for our hands-on aquaculture programs; and to teach people of all ages about the ocean and its resources through community outreach lessons, summer camps, and interactive tours. There is never a shortage of creative program ideas humming here, but the costs to run our facility and provide our services always seems to be rising and your support is needed more than ever.

Please help us keep our program fees low by renewing your membership, or becoming a new member now!

New members receive a welcome gift, renewing members receive 6 HGLC notecards. Annual membership also entitles you to a 10% discount on HGLC summer camps and merchandise, and an open invitation to visit the center at any time to meet our staff and students and be part of the Herring Gut experience.
